Staying in a Difficult Dialogue:
Compassionate Conversations
with Rosie Hefner and Trish Hatfield May 12, 2009 (10 PM - 4 PM) West Virginia Commission on National and Community Service Office, 710 Central Avenue, Charleston, West Virginia $70 (training materials, lunch, breaks) CEUs available. Registration limited to 20 but must have 6 to hold class. Keeping the conversation going when it gets emotionally difficult is a learned skill. Using the non-violent communication ideas of Marshall Rosenberg, this workshop creates th e opportunity to learn and practice a process that deepens connections with yourself and others. It increases the likelihood that we will hear our own and others' needs and express our requests in ways that increase the likelihood of beneficial outcomes.

CC in Feb and Mar 2009

Rosie Hefner and I will be co-leading a six week refresher series in Compassionate Communication using the NVC model at Christ Church United Methodist starting this Wednesday, Feb 4 through Wednesday, March, 11.
