Kanawha Pastoral Counseling Center Motivation for Change Find Your Motivation for Change Learn Motivational Interviewing Motivational Interviewing is the state-of-the -art response to help people find the positive motivation to make significant changes in their lives.   Motivational Interviewing originally emerged in the field of addictions treatment as an alternative to traditional confrontational, authoritarian methods. Since inception, it has proven effective in a wide variety of settings involved in assisting people in making positive behavior changes.  This is a great class for anyone interested in understanding how to help people struggling with an addiction. Clergy, counselors, nurses, addictions specialists are welcome. CEU's available.
