It seems sometimes like we are all recovering from something! Losses in health, family and relationships, business, can take their toll. Sometimes an addiction can start by giving us a little extra help to numb some of the pain of life on an especially difficult day or painfully sleepless night.
KPCC Therapist Jack Stringfellow is especially well-trained to help people you may know deal with difficult addictions. Jack uses an approach called Motivational Interviewing which focuses on what the client wants and is motivated to do to change.

The Jim Dent Dinner
 This year's annual Jim Dent Dinner may have special appeal to members of our community. Our humorist is Jeanne Robertson, well-known to many who have heard her on satellite radio and YouTube. Her stories of traveling the country with her retired engineer husband, whom she affectionately calls "Left Brain," are endearing and full of surprises. The Dent Dinner is a benefit of KPCC.
